Mango and Refreshing Drink

Growing up in a tropical country where mango trees are almost
everywhere, makes me love mangoes either green or ripe.
A crunchy green mango slices or dried ripe mangoes, are all great.
Mango flavored ice cream or mango pickles, can never be turned down.
And enjoying a glass of mango shake is a delight. But a green mango
shake is a must try.


Here are some refreshing mango recipe:


Green Mango Milk Shake

Ingredients:

2 cups chopped green mangoes
1 cup crushed ice
1 cup milk
1 scoop vanilla icecream
4 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup sago (tapioca pearls)
1/4 cup of water


Direction:

In a saucepan, simmer the sago with 1/4 cup of water and 2 tablespoons
sugar, over low heat. Stir occasionally until the sago absorbs the
syrup. Let it cool.

In a blender, add mangoes and ice, process until smooth. Add the
sugar, milk and ice cream. Blend it to a fine paste. You may adjust
the milk and sugar to your taste.

Put some cooled sago in a glass then pour some shake mixture.


Ripe Mango Milk Shake


Ingredients:

2 cups chopped ripe mangoes
1 cup crushed ice
1 cup milk
1 scoop vanilla icecream
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup sweet corn kernels (optional)

Direction:

In a blender, add mangoes and ice, process until smooth. Add the
sugar, milk and ice cream. Blend it to a fine paste. You may adjust
the milk and sugar to your taste.

Put some corn kernels in the glass before pouring the shake mixture.
